Class Definitions:

CrossFit: CrossFit is a group workout that consists of constantly varied, functional movements done at high intensity and modified to all ages, levels, and body types (including modifying for injuries and mobility). Movements are scalable to fit any fitness level from grandmas to firefighters! Classes usually last one hour. Never the same workout except for some benchmark WODs such as “Fran”, “Cindy” and “Helen” or a Hero WOD. Competition Training Our training workouts are programmed and coached specifically for CrossFitters and other advanced athletes who are looking to take their athleticism to the next level may it be preparing for a competition, a Spartan Race, or a local meet. You’ll be exposed to the best that the world of strength and conditioning has to offer: gymnastics, Olympic lifting, cliometrics, sprinting, etc. No gimmicks, just proven methods for getting individuals strong, fast, and fit. Olympic Weight Lifting: Whether you want to compete in the sport of Olympic weightlifting or just improve your speed, strength, and explosive power, the Dark Horse Weightlifting Club is a great fit. Our focus is on the fundamentals of weightlifting and is great for beginners, and those looking to compete on the national level. Non-members $75 monthly Class Times Tue & Thu 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturdays at 9:30 am to 11:30 am

On-Ramp: (Required for all beginning Cross-fitters) On-Ramp is a one-week class taught by a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Learn the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit. There is a short workout at the end of each class. Must complete this course in order to attend regular CrossFit workouts. *If you have a limited schedule, we may be flexible in adapting to your scheduling needs within regular CrossFit business hours. Cost $125 6 weeks.  Contact Belen at (316) 644- 6917 or Coach Jacob Robinson at (913)426-2927  to set up a time. 

Open Gym: This doesn’t count as one of your membership days. Open gym is intended for work on Oly lifts, strength, skill work, make-up WODs (as long as room permits). It’s also open to the public who want to get a workout in during their lunch hour since we are in the center of the downtown district. Our open gym time hours are from 10:00 am to 11:45 am, We have showers.

Comuni WOD: Our class is held at 8:00 am every Saturday and is open to drop-in guess Cross-Fitters and the public who is curious about our CrossFit program.  It usually consists of a partner or team workout incorporating some weights, body-weight movements, and cardio. No Charge 1 visit per-person 

One-on-One Training:
 One-Hour session with training with a Coach. 30 mins $25 1 hr $50

Cancellation policy: We require a 7 day written notice via e-mail on any membership plans prior to the due date 1st or 15th  or pay a $35 late cancellation fee.
